JACTIMの会員カテゴリーには、普通会員(法人会員・個人会員)と在外会員、準会員資格があります。

普通会員

１）マレーシアで設立され、その資本金の全部もしくは一部が日本国法人、または日本人に帰属する法人（法人会員）

２）マレーシアにおいて登録されている日本の公的機関の駐在員事務所

３）マレーシアの現地企業で雇用されている日本人（個人会員）

※個人会員は、マレーシアまたは日本以外の外資系企業で労働ビザを取って働かれている日本人のみを対象としています。

在外会員

マレーシア国外において登録された日本の法人、その支店または連絡事務所であって、マレーシアにおいて商行為その他の業務を行っていること。

準会員

マレーシアの法人又は個人で会って、本商工会議所の目的に賛同するもの、かつ部会や事業等に参加を希望するもの

留意点

普通会員で代表者として登録される方は、マレーシアの有効な就労ビザを取得されていることが条件となります。

JACTIMへの入会にあたり、入会金、会費およびJACTIM Foundation費(法人会員、個人会員のみ)をお支払いいただくことになります。

法人会員：企業規模や登録状況等を反映するため、以下の3項目を基準としてUnit（口数）を設定しております。

下記①～③の口数（Unit）を合計し、**合計口数 × 1口あたりの金額（RM360）**により年間会費を算出します。
(※当地での所在地がペナン州、ペラ州、マラッカ州またはジョホール州の法人会員は、1口あたりRM345で計算されます。)

最終的な会費額は、各項目のUnit数を合算した総Unit数に基づき算出いたします。

2026年7月以降の会費基準表

法人会員：

①法人会員は、日本の親会社の規模に応じて A～D の会員区分が設定されています。各区分にはあらかじめ口数（Unit）が定められており、この口数が親会社の規模による基本口数となります。

※法人会員の年会費は、①親会社の規模による基本口数、②日本人在籍者数、③登録部会数の3項目の口数（Unit）を合計し、「合計口数 × 1口あたりの金額」により算出します。

・6部会以上：3口

※登録部会数が1～3部会の場合は、一律1口が適用されます。

Corporate Members:

① Basic Membership Category Based on the Size of the Japanese Parent Company

Corporate Members are classified into Categories A to D according to the size of their Japanese parent company. Each category has a predetermined number of Units, which serves as the basic number of Units based on the size of the parent company.

※ The annual membership fee for Corporate Members is calculated by adding the Units for the following three items:
① basic Units based on the size of the Japanese parent company,
② number of Japanese employees.
③ number of registered groups.

The annual membership fee is calculated as the total number of Units × RM360 per Unit.
(For Corporate Members whose registered office is located in Penang, Perak, Malacca, or Johor, the membership fee is calculated at RM345 per Unit.)

[Membership Categories for Corporate Members]

• (A) Companies listed on the First Section of the Tokyo or Osaka Stock Exchange, or companies of equivalent status
• (B) Companies listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo or Osaka Stock Exchange, or companies of equivalent status
• (C) Other companies
• (D) Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)

② Number of Japanese Employees

The number of Units is determined according to the number of Japanese staff employed by the Malaysian entity.

(A minimum of 1 Unit applies even if there are no Japanese staff employed.)

③ Number of Registered Groups

The number of Units is determined according to the number of registered groups with JACTIM.

• 1–3 groups: 1 Unit
• 4–5 groups: 2 Units
• 6 or more groups: 3 Units

※ For 1–3 registered groups, a flat rate of 1 Unit applies.

Individual Members, Overseas Members, and Sub Members:

Unlike Corporate Members, whose membership fees are calculated by adding Units from multiple categories, the membership fee for Individual Members, Overseas Members, and Sub Members is determined based on the predetermined number of Units assigned to each membership category.

For members joining as an Individual Member, Overseas Member, or Sub Member, only the registered representative is eligible to participate in committees, seminars, and other activities organized by JACTIM.

For these membership categories, there are no additional Units based on the number of Japanese employees or the number of registered groups. The predetermined number of Units for each membership category is used directly to calculate the membership fee.

In addition, an entrance fee is payable upon joining. Corporate Members and Individual Members are automatically enrolled in the JACTIM FOUNDATION, and therefore an annual JACTIM FOUNDATION membership fee of RM300 is charged separately.

※ At the 43rd Annual General Meeting held on March 27, 2026, it was approved, in accordance with the Articles of Association and Regulations, to revert to the practice of generally not providing refunds of membership fees in the event of resignation during the membership year. Accordingly, for resignations submitted on or after March 27, 2026, annual membership fees and JACTIM FOUNDATION fees are non-refundable.

In addition, if there are any outstanding membership fees, the member must pay the full amount of the membership fees and JACTIM FOUNDATION fees for the relevant membership year, including any outstanding amounts, before the resignation can be approved.

１．在日本企業が入会希望在馬企業から見て以下①~②のいずれかに該当する場合は、直接or間接の出資、及び出資の割合を問わず、その在日本企業を親会社として登録し、その親会社の位置づけによって会費口数を定めます。

①「意思決定権」を有している場合　※意思決定権＝財務及び営業又は事業の方針を決定する機関を支配している。

② 最終親会社である場合

（注）下記例のいずれかにあたる場合は上記①もしくは②に該当すると判断します。

例：50%超の株式を保有している、取締役役員の過半数を送っている、資金の大半を融資している、もしくは、連結財務諸表に連結している。

２．日本本社が上記①~②のいずれにも該当しない場合は直接の親会社で登録してください。

Criteria for Determining the Parent Company

The criteria for determining the parent company are as follows:

1. If a company registered in Japan falls under either ① or ② below in relation to the Malaysia-based company applying for membership, the Japan-based company will be registered as the parent company, regardless of whether the investment is direct or indirect, or the percentage of ownership. The number of membership Units will then be determined based on the status and scale of the registered parent company.

① The company has decision-making authority
Decision-making authority refers to control over the entity responsible for determining financial, business, sales, or operational policies.

② The company is the ultimate parent company

(Note) The following cases will be considered to fall under either ① or ② above:

• Holding more than 50% of the shares
• Appointing a majority of the board members/directors
• Providing the majority of financing or loans
• Including the company as a consolidated entity in consolidated financial statements

2. If the Japan-based headquarters does not fall under either ① or ② above, please register the direct parent company instead.

グループ企業の同一親会社※で２番目以降に入会された場合の親会社基準は次の通りです。

A →A‘ ： 8口　B → B’： 5口　C → C’： 3口　D → D’： 1口

※親会社の判断基準につきましては上記の項目を参照願います。

For companies within the same group under the same parent company*, the parent company criteria applied when the second and subsequent companies join JACTIM are as follows:

中小企業会員の条件（カテゴリーD）

以下に定める基準に合致する場合は、中小企業となります。

１）日本における親会社が日本国の中小企業基準法などに定められる中小企業の場合。

製造業、建設業、運輸業等：資本金3億円以下または従業員300人以下

卸売業：資本金1億円以下または従業員100人以下

小売・サービス業：資本金5千万円以下または従業員100人以下

２） 日本に親会社がない場合

常用従業員150人以下または年間売上2千５百万リンギット以下の基準に合致し、事業規模、経営力、資本力などを判断して、理事会で承認

Conditions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Members (Category D)

A company will be classified as a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Member if it meets either of the following criteria:

1) When the parent company in Japan qualifies as a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise under the relevant laws and regulations of Japan

• Manufacturing, construction, transportation, and other industries:
  Capital: JPY 300 million or less, or number of employees: 300 or fewer
• Wholesale industry:
  Capital: JPY 100 million or less, or number of employees: 100 or fewer
• Retail and service industries:
  Capital: JPY 50 million or less, or number of employees: 100 or fewer

2) When there is no parent company in Japan

The company must meet either of the following criteria:

• 150 or fewer regular employees, or
• Annual sales of RM 25 million or less

In addition, the company’s business scale, management capability, capital strength, and other relevant factors will be reviewed, and classification as an SME Member will be subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

部会は、KLで開催される５つの業種部会と、ペナン、ペラ、ジョホール、マラッカにて開催される４つの地域部会があります。各部会の業種や詳細は、コチラご参照ください。

 

本籍部会：貴社の業種に基づいた部会となり、こちらは変更できません。本籍部会は、業種部会から選択となり、地域部会を本籍部会には登録できません。

登録部会：本籍部会のほか、地域部会を含む2つ計3部会が1口の料金にて登録可能です。（1口＝RM360 /年）

※法人会員のみ3部会以上の登録が可能ですが、登録合計部会数（本籍部会含む）により、追加料金が変わります。

合計4-5部会の登録：合計2口（RM720/年）、合計6部会以上の登録：合計3口（RM1080/年）

【業種部会】

（3月、8月、12月を除き毎月開催されます。本籍部会以外の二部会については本籍部会と関連がなくともご登録いただけます。）

・第１工業部会: 食品、繊維、木材、パルプ、紙、化学、ゴム、窯業、包装材、家具、文具、玩具、スポー ツ用品、ゴム、木材、パーム油、水産、商品取引、石油、ガス 
・第２工業部会: 鉄鋼、非鉄金属、金属製品、機械、輸送用機器、精密機器、プラント、その他関連 
・第３工業部会: 電子、電機、その他関連 

(※) 工業部会は３部会ありますが、毎月合同で開催していますので、工業部会にご登録される場合いずれか１つをご選択ください。
また、新入会員の方で本籍部会が工業系に属する場合は、登録フォーム内の該当する分類にチェックを入れてご回答ください。

・貿易部会: 商社 
・金融部会: 銀行、証券、リース 、損保 
・建設部会: 建設、コンサルティング、設備工事 
・流通サービス部会: 小売、運輸、観光、広告、IT関連

【Bukai (Group meeting)】

JACTIM has five Industry Groups held in Kuala Lumpur (KL) and four Regional Groups held in Penang, Perak, Johor, and Malacca.
For details of each group, including the industry categories and coverage, please refer to the relevant section.

Main Registered Group

Your Main Registered Group is determined based on your company’s business category and cannot be changed.
The Main Registered Group must be selected from the Industry Groups; Regional Groups cannot be registered as the Main Registered Group.

Registered Groups

In addition to the Main Registered Group, you may register for two additional Groups, including Regional Groups, for the fee of one Unit.
(1 Unit = RM360/year)

※ Only Corporate Members may register for more than three Groups. Additional fees will vary depending on the total number of registered Groups (including the Main Registered Group).

③ 必要事項の入力　
ログイン後、会社情報・推薦人情報などを入力してください。(個人会員に該当される方は個人会員必須項目のご入力が必要です。)

④ ステータスの変更
入力完了後、フォームのステータスを「Premember」から「Review」へ変更してください。この操作により、事務局に登録完了の通知が届きます。

⑤ 事務局で内容確認・推薦人署名依頼の配信
内容に不備がなければ、事務局より推薦人の方へ署名依頼メールを送信いたします。不備がある場合は、再度入力のお願いをさせていただきます。 

⑥ 承認手続きと会費のお支払い
各推薦人の署名が確認できましたら、総務委員会および理事会での審議を経て正式に承認されます。
承認後は、システムより承認完了のお知らせが配信されます。

申請者ご本人に会員ポータルページへログインいただき、当会の規約を遵守する旨について緑色の『Approve』ボタンを押していただき、 
ご承認ください。

その後、経理担当者より会費請求書（INVOICE）が発行・送信されますので、内容をご確認のうえお支払いをお願いいたします。

[About the New Membership Registration Steps]

Membership and participation applications are accepted through our online form.

The deadline for membership and participation applications is around the 15th of each month.
Please note that signatures from two registered representatives of existing JACTIM member companies are required for new membership applications.
(As a general rule, the Secretariat does not introduce recommenders. If you do not have anyone in mind, we suggest reaching out to the local branch of your bank or other business contacts in Japan.)

If all required information has been completed and both recommenders’ signatures have been confirmed by this deadline, your application will be submitted for deliberation and approval at the Admin Committee and Board of Directors meeting of that month.
(Please note that there is no AD Committee meeting in March; applications received during this period will be reviewed in April.)

Applications completed after the deadline may be carried forward for review and approval in the following month. We appreciate your kind understanding.

Before proceeding with your registration, please inform your recommenders that they will receive an email from the Secretariat requesting their signature.

After verification by the Secretariat, your ID, password, and registration URL will be sent via email.

Step ④ Change of Status

Once all information has been entered, please change the form status from “Premember” to “Review.”
This will automatically notify the Secretariat that your registration has been completed.

Step ⑤ Secretariat Review & Recommender Signature Request

The Secretariat will review your submission.
If all information is complete, an email requesting signatures will be sent to your recommenders.
If corrections are needed, you will be notified to revise your entry.

Step ⑥ Approval Process and Membership Fee Payment

Once the signatures of all recommenders have been confirmed, the application will be formally approved following deliberation by the General Affairs Committee and the Board of Directors.
After approval, a notification of approval will be automatically sent from the system.

The applicant is then requested to log in to the member portal page and click the green “Approve” button to confirm their agreement to comply with our association’s regulations.

Thereafter, the accounting officer will issue and send the membership fee invoice. Kindly review the details and proceed with the payment accordingly.

(Please note that, at the 43rd Annual General Meeting held on March 27, 2026, it was approved to revert to the previous practice, in accordance with the Articles of Association and Regulations, of generally not providing refunds of membership fees in the event of resignation during the membership year. Accordingly, for resignations submitted on or after March 27, 2026, annual membership fees and JACTIM FOUNDATION fees are non-refundable. In addition, if there are any outstanding membership fees, the member must pay the full amount of the membership fees and JACTIM FOUNDATION fees for the relevant membership year, including any outstanding amounts, before the resignation can be approved.)
